Tiger! Tiger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder, and what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when the heart begins to beat,
What dread hand? and what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp
Dare its deadly terror clasp?
When the stars threw down their spears,
And watered heaven with their tears
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the lamb make thee?
Tiger! Tiger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
If you listen to the wind you'll hear the song of the birds
Listen pure and simple, hear the wisdom in their words...
To fight or flee, you must be free, your hero is yourself
You'll find you have the courage and the strength to
put down hell's fires! If you cast out the doubt inside...
Stand up tall and walk with pride... Take on an inner
revolution... Change your heart and constitution...
But don't let anger or fear set your course or
guide your actions. Dare stand where no one can stand
in the light... Seek the Power and the Passion
The truth has a way of shining through
And as you lie in the night it weighs heavy on your mind
Searching for the answers and running out of time
Yet if you lead them they will follow
Stand up tall and show us all the way
Mistakes mean nothing! If you cast out the doubt inside
A frantic search for redirection...
A suitable cause for insurrection...
And does the sorrow of your day wilt the flowers of
compassion. Dare go where no one has gone
through the night... Seek the Power and the Passion
The truth has it's way of shining through
And when you've past through the night, taste the sweet
wine of satisfaction. Dare stand where no one can stand
in the light... Seize the Power and live with Passion
The truth has it's way of shining through
Now the storm has passed and the winds have died
As it blows all out to sea. Through it all I thought
that we could last, but it was not meant to be...
And all the king's horses and all the king's men
They cannot put our lives back together again
Goodbye... Goodbye...
Now the lighthouse beacon that shown me the way
is a light that shines no more. Will my ship be
dashed upon the rocks that lie in my path?
Or can I make it safely to the shore?
It's as if you thrust a dagger right through my heart
It's red hot blade, it tore me apart. Was it arrogance?
Vanity? Like a fool up high on the wall...
Who never thought he'd fall
And all the king's horses and all the king's men
They cannot put our love back together again
So I turn out the lights as I close the door
Cause I know that you won't be coming home anymore
Goodbye... I wish you well
Goodbye... From the depths of Hell
Goodbye... You've broken my heart
Goodbye... Can't believe we're apart
And all the king's horses and all the king's men
They cannot heal a broken heart, I pray that I can
Not all the king's horses and all the king's men
Not all the king's horses and all the king's men
One ship set sail today, with it went my heart
Silhouette disappears on the horizon
Now and forever... worlds apart.
Each breath grows harder to draw as bitter tears
run through my hands. God's truth I find in
solitude that no heart can understand
Without a Word... Without a sound
The curtain fell, no story left to tell
The fruit of love has withered on the vine
The shifting sands of time
Have eroded through the years
Your ship set sail that day upon a Sea of Tears
Each day that passes is one less day to be
Each breath brings us closer To where our
souls are free. But God in heaven...
Has never promised the sun without rain
A thousand hopes have been shattered
A thousand dreams have slipped away
One ship sailed... across the sea
On that ship my love took my heart from me
Two ships pass... in the night
They never saw each other
They're gone by morning light
The shifting sands of time
Have eroded through the years
My ship set sail today upon a Sea of Tears
They say it's better to love and to lose
But I can't imagine a worse fate to choose
Perhaps it is better...
Never to have known love at all
The game was played and everyone lost
The stakes were too high, can't measure the cost
It might have been better...
Never to have played it at all
But fate has decided - it's over and done
The battles were fought - but nobody won
Like an unfinished symphony no one will play
Empty hearts have nothing left to say...
They say it's better to love and to lose
But I can't imagine a worse fate to choose
Perhaps it is better...
Never to have known love at all
But fate has decided - it's over and done
The battles were fought - and nobody won
Like an unfinished symphony no one can play
Empty hearts have nothing left to say...
Nothing left to say...
Empty hearts have turned and walked away...
