The first official Mastermind release in 5 years! A prelude to the full length Insomnia album to be released in 2006 um, 2008, nope. Finally... in 2010 by Lion Music (Finland).
A special CD SINGLE / EP release featuring two tracks from the long awaited forthcoming Insomnia studio album plus five tracks newly recorded just for this EP. Hear the title track on MySpace now. Included is the original extended mix of the song "Broken" this EP is a perfect partner for the new album.
The EP is fleshed out with our take on A Perfect Circle's "Weak & Powerless" and four classic tracks from the Mastermind live repertoire recorded live in the studio. Jammed out versions of some Angels of the Apocalypse tunes, a blazing "William Tell Overture" and good fun with the delta blues classic "I'm So Glad." If you enjoyed the band live in the new millennium, you will dig this disc. Quite honestly we think it kicks some ass.
